Just went to BBQ's Galore to get some parts for the BBQ Island I'm planning to build. It was a tight fit for the parts(should have taken the truck, but the weather was so nice....) When I went to drive home, every light on the dash was on. Service handling, check engine light, check gages, etc. The car ran great except for those error codes.
Q. What is wrong? Anyone have similar issues?
Please help. I'd hate to take it to the DEALER if it's just a fuse or something.
I don't have a clue and have not had it happen to my '99 all the time I've had it. I would first suggest checking the status of the battery and battery cables. A low battery would cause all sorts of wierd things to appear on the dash.
If you have the F45 and maybe the F55 suspension.... The Ride Control box is in the left rear storage compartment. Open the compartment and the edge nearest the front of the car is velcroed to the structure. Pull the velcroed section apart and there is the ride control computer. If the plugs were knocked loose, you would get a bunch of error codes....just maybe.

Have to say that battery would be my immediate thought. Weak batteries can cause all sorts of unassociated electrical gremlins.
Did it throw any codes? If so, try a reset and then see if they reoccur.
If not, it may be worth just driving for a while before you take it to the dealer. Random snags like that are not uncommon.
Vista Chevrolet are pretty good but I'm sure they'll gladly take your $$$ for diagnosing a "no fault found".
