Default Let the Modding begin

Well I got all my parts ordered and they are starting to trickel in . First I ordered my stall speed converter 2800 to 3200 , than I ordered a brand new Z06 3.42 sp rear which I recived an awesome deal on. Pm me if you would like to know the soruce and price. also have a cold air intake coming along with headers and a X-pipe. so when it all gets here the modding begins .cant wait I will takeing the car to Cartek to get it tuned after I install everything still deciding if I should just have Cartek install the stall and rear for me or if I should do it myself ? I guess I'll figure it out when the time comes.Thank you to everyone for all the help you all gave me in making my choices on what to do for the first wave of mods

Phil M.

Either way, we will be happy to do it.

H&C will completely transform the car into an animal.

if you have not already started, now would be a great time to take it to a dyno and get before numbers. and after all the mods, get some after numbers. no real need to get numbers after each mod. just the big picture. also not all mods will provide increase in hp, some will give milage increase but no change in hp, so maybe also find a stretch of highway and take some milage numbers also.

I always wonder if people that do hp increases dont get significant decrease in milage, this to me would negate the mod incentive.

I would be more then willing to have it dynoed before hand if I had a tuner close to me that would be willing to do a free be pull because all my toy cash is tied up into all of this and my final tuning at CARTEK
