in another 20 Years or so if I ever wanted to sell the car it will bring in additional value for being a Katrina survivor. I have pictures on file and will post all info when the car is completed. Mean while I'm proud to say I have a survivor and is back MEAN! and LEAN! driving machine.
Good luck with your wonderful learning experience!!
Go for it, Runamuk (I simply think that Forum name is COOL ) - I agree w/ both of the above - same thing applies to my 2001 that I rebuilt - when you are done, you can't tell it's rebuilt, I'm not going to sell it, and I'm in my car a HECK of a lot cheaper than I would have bought it for any other way (well, at least before the mods started ) NOTHING wrong with a project like this if you want to learn and have the time and ability. AND, it's by FAR better than what's on TV these days!
We all make choices in life. Do what you enjoy. Sometimes you get in so deep you just have to complete it, just because you started it. My question is - Are you you married?
I am indeed impressed with your heartfelt desire and dedication to achieve this goal. You appear to be a unique individual that's willing to accept any challenge, no matter how great the task.
