BC is correct. The speedo does not need to be recalibrated for a gear swap. Only the shift points need to be adjusted by a tuner.
The speedo is only affected by a diameter change in the rear wheels if u were to change them.

In my 2000 A4, the TQ was the best mod to date for a SOTP difference. Really makes the car more fun to drive. I have a Vig 2800. I also have a H/C package, but still believe the TQ has been the best mod. Just my 2 cents.
