I tried the search function but came up empty. Question is, if you guys would be kind enough, will the base C6 brake calipers fit the C5 caliper brackets without modification? I am doing a C5 brake upgrade on my C4 but I figured if the C6 and C5 calipers are interchangable, why not use the newer, supposedly a tad bit better C6 caliper. Also, anyone have the GM part numbers for the L/R front C6 calipers? Thanks.
I'm about to get a set of C6 base rotors, caliper and lines. I plan to put them on my C5. I'm Told they will fit, but I will soon find out. Wish me luck, I hope to post some Pics.
I heard you needed the C6 bracket also to use the C6 calipers. I could be wrong but you might want to check that. And the 17 inch wheels wont fit over the C6 brakes either?

Good Luck
That would be if you were to use the C6Z51 rotor, which is slightly larger then the C5 or base C6 rotor.
Many ppl are taking off the Z51 d/s rotors and brakets and putting on the base brakes and rotors for better braking and to remove the d/s rotors.
