HUD and direct sunlight problem
I'm having a problem with my HUD. On a bright day with the sun almost directly overhead there will be a part of the HUD equipment that reflects back onto the windshield blocking the top part of the display. I was under the dash looking for a rattle last week. Is there any way I could have hit something in the HUD and move something that would cause it to start having a glare on the windshield?

With the sun at certain angles you'll get reflection off the HUD lens. At first this can look quite scary but its normal. It should clear as you turn.
Do you get the flooding on the same street at the same time of the day? It may just be that on certain headings you get the glare.
If its random and occurs when travelling in different directions you may have a HUD snag.
