Steering noise problem
I bought a used 2002 Z06 a couple of months back and had a question. When I turn the steering wheel to full turn either left or right when I'm backing up, I'm getting a "thunking" noise coming from the front end that I can feel and hear. The car drives fine and doesn't make that noise unless I'm at full turn with the wheels. Anything to worry about? Thanks!

i've had this problem and for some reason no one else does... it's a hit and miss thing. I've narrowed it down to the front bushings on the sway bar. I've not replaced them as well its not hurting anything and i drive with the music so loud. If you wanna test this get under and loosen the bolts to the bushing and spray some lithium grease in there. tighten back up and see if you notice a difference.
This is currently the best advise i can offer because well i haven't actually replaced the bushings to confirm 100% thats the problem.
