Default Spark plug Preference.

It seems that NGK and AC delco are the top rated plugs. Which do you prefer (please include make, model#, electrode material and gap)

also please advise on my application (desperatly in need of a plug/wire swap)

1997 coupe Ls1
Milage: 106K
Climate: Houston (lets just put it this way, within 24 hours we experienced all 4 seasons) But it's approaching a hot summer
As far as i know the wires and plugs appear to be original

Intake Mods: Vararam, ported TB (in route)

I'm running NGK TR55 GPs, I left the gap at the factory .55, It's running good.

I've read a 50/50 split on leaving the gap at .55 and changing it to .44... so

Right up the road from in Dallas and I love the NGK-TR55s. The car runs great.

IS there a performance difference in the copper and platnium plugs? I've head that the LS1 doesn't like platnium much.
