Default Having trouble shifting after clutch install

A buddy and I just finished installing an Exedy dual disk clutch on my 03' Z06. I bought the clutch used from here and had it resurfaced..etc. After installing it and bleeding the clutch line it feels as if the clutch is never fully disengaging thus making it pretty hard to shift from one gear to the next. What do you guys recommend I should do to get more throw?

Thanks in advance,
~Brandon

Did it need resurfacing? Was the clutch checked out for wear(thinking pressure plate)? Pilot and t/o bearings replaced with new? Master and slave all good? Lots of possibilities.

Man, clutches can be tough when brand new. I'd be scared of anything used. I replace everything brand new on a clutch install. Good luck going through the process.

I haven't replaced the slave cylinder or TO bearing, they are next on my list. Any recommendations on what brand? How are the DRM Slave Cylinders? Would an adjustable master cylinder help out as well? Thanks.

I'll replace the slave on all installs, too much work for a $120 part, the shift box alignment is a simple place to start
