+1 I have seen 5HP gains with these plugs. Believe me at $7 a plug I better see some gain. Better throttle response as well.

I changed out my Tr-55s after 48,000 miles, mainly since I was changing out the valve springs (148K miles and several autocross and track events). No misfires, and they were in good shape physically. Gap had grown to about .060-.062, and I would have put them back in except I already had a set waiting.
Just a small dab of antisieze on the threads and you're good to go.
Have a good one,
Mike

NGK TR55 copper core , you can still get 50k miles out of the copper and it will provide better spark and more durability than the iridium.

Copper is a better conductor, and you can get a whole set for $16. I've got about 30k on mine now, so I might as well clean the Blackwing and replace my GM Hotwires while I'm at it.
