Default Battery hold down
I seem to be missing the hold down clamp for my battery. It wasn't there when I bought the car. Battery really doesn't move around, but I want to find the clamp so I can take it to the track and be safe. Anyone know where I can get one?

Just go to Chevy dealer and pick one up. It's plastic and clamps on bottom flange of battery.

You might want to check to see if the retainer fell into the wheel well enclosure (under the battery holder). See my fumblefingers post.

Today I found that I could get into the inside of the wheel well by removing the battery tray. The wheel well housing did not need to be removed to get my battery retainer out of the inside of the wheel well where it had dropped when I was removing the battery.
