electrical problems!
I've been told that a bad ground can cause as fuse to blow... but i've cleaned all the grounds under the hood and added an additional ground from the engine to the chassis. Same problem still exists... it normally happens after i drive the car hard... yet sometimes it might go 2 days without doing... sometimes it might pop the fuse 30 seconds after installing it. It's a 10A fuse.... i got stranded on a date the other night with it and popped in a 15A(it was all i had) to get me home.... it popped it after about 2 minutes.
Can anyone point me in any sort of direction before i take the car apart and start checking individual wires for shorts? Or does this sound like a grounding issue to you guys? Any ideas or suggestions are EXTREMELY welcome.
Thanks,
Shannon

A bad ground won't typically cause a fuse to blow. Bad grounds
typically cause things to stop working, because the circuit is
incomplete.
A short is what causes a blown fuse. From what you are describing,
you have a short somewhere. Sounds like a wire has rubbed through
its insulation, and under the right conditions finds some bare metal.
One common place you can look is in the bellows of each door.
Pull the rubber "hose" loose and see if any of the wires look damaged.
Failing that, looks like you're in for some quality time with your
service manual tracing the circuit for fuse 19.
When the tranny shop replaced my clutch, they routed a wire bundle in in an awkward way and the CAGS elimnator foudn it's way to the exhaust and you can figure out the rest!
WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
