DIY painters step inside...
looking for a good quality primer/filler for plastic. specifically for interior plastic console pieces. i am not interested in the krylon for plastic paint. I am sanding, priming, then painting with automotive paint and clear.
any suggestions?

Go to like a body shop supply, they would know best and have it on hand. PPG makes several different fill and sand primers, K200, K36, ect... not sure what one is best for plastic.

I used a plastic cleaner followed by a plastic prep that promotes better adhesion, then a flexible primer/surfacer. All available in spray cans for smaller jobs. Purchased at the local auto body supply store.
