Default Airbag Cutout Switch

Anyone installed an cutout switch on the passenger side? I'm trying to do it to my '98, and am having plug matchup issues with the GM kit. Anyone know if the airbag plugs were changed from year to year?

Thanks

Do a search for it...I believe I saw it somewhere that there was a difference, but don't take my word for it...

Which plug are you having problems with?

When I installed the kit on my 2000, I finally found the correct plug under the drivers side knee panel. I can send a picture if needed. Send me a pm if you would like more help.

The plug that is under the drivers side and the one behind the passenger dash are basically the same plug. They are both bigger than what I have in the GM kit. The kit in this link
http://97vette.com/howto/airbag/index.html
has the same plug as my kit, and he is pluggin in behind the dash. They are doing a '99 and I have a '98 so I wonder if the size changed?

There are a number of air bag system connections under the driver's side. I found mine up and behind the steering column after some digging for it.

My 2000 also had it under the driver's knee panel. It is off to the right of the wheel and has a different connector than the driver's side.
