no, just don't need a dialog about how wrong it is to run a bolt without loctite. You started that dialog after I disclosed the reason why I didn't use loctite. We can end that dialog just as soon as you drop it, Mr. Know it all.
Get a grip...junior. I said nothing about you not using Loctite. I merely said I thought a better suggestion to our fellow poster would be to use blue, not red. The rest of whatever has you all jacked up is a figment of your imagination, not a product of anything I posted. Sorry.

A friend of mine who is a GM dealer shop foreman told me the same thing. They want you to replace the bolts because liability-wise, they have to assume most people won't put a locking compund on the bolts when re-using. I put on "blue" Loc-tite and have never had a problem.
