Default LS2 Knock Sensor & Wiring Location

Hey Everyone--

My '01 Z06 track car has an LS2 402 in it. I have the wiring harness extensions for cam and knock sensors, and they are installed. However, I would like to better position the knock sensors, as I have the passenger-side sensor mounted to the head and not the block.

The reason for this is how we ran the Y-shaped harness extension-- down the driver-side edge of the intake manifold, then split left & right. I'm thinking that maybe we should have split it off earlier and run down below further back toward the firewall.

Can someone please describe the best location for the sensor as well as the best way to run the harness extension for each side, keeping in mind that I have headers installed as well? I'd be most appreciative!

Thanks,
Fred

You could just turn the knock sensor down so that they don;t really do anything anymore. I seen a few on LS1Tech do that. I'd check over there for your problem too.
