BCM Body Control Module

BCM Body Control Module
My BCM burnt out recently and I had to purchase a new one. Does anyone know if a 1997 C5 need the BCM flashed (programmed) before installing it?

Yes, you will need them to be sync'd up as they all talk to each other.
Time for a trip to the dealer or someone with a tech 2.

I woulod probably take over vehicle to make sure everything got programmed correctly. Elsewise you could be chasing a bunch of gremlins.

It's a device (programmer / scanner) used to program your GM car. Can get one for about $4K if you want to do your own work.
There could be a local tune shop that has one, but since you did not post up where you live, no one could make any suggestions.
