If you have model year 2000 - 2002 you have precats. These are of no embarrassment to you. They are another restriction on your base horsepower.
Many have removed them although that sometimes causes emissions testing problems. Those folks indicate thay get a HP boost just by doing that.

only certain 2000's have them. Regardless, if your does, you can replace you center pipe with a 2000 non-CA pipe to get rid of them. Should be worth 10HP, but may not be worth the $800 the pipe costs.
