EBTCM internal malfunction
electronic brake control maodule.
The condition is set when an internal EBTCM malfunction exists.
If there are no bad wires or terminals on it, then it looks like the EBTCM module will need to be replaced.
try the tech tips section. Taht should list a one line description of what they are I think. I get my info form the service manuals which go into great detail.
Error code C1225 is usually set when some other sensor is set. Did you have any other faults. For instance, when I have had speed-sensor go out, it will set a code for that specific wheel, then the C1225 will ALSO set.
Steve-O....The 2 websites you listed have different results....one said that a C1225 code is the RF wheel sensor (97vette.com), the other has a LF wheel sensor problem. Anyone know which it is?
I wish I could be of more help, but I just had a few of these sites tagged in my favorites, I don't know anymore than that, (but here is a website that a forum reader has that could help). http://corvetteforum.net/c5/c5_tech/
opps I think I am dislexic (spelling sucks too) I do not know why I posted the other code.
Oh well
