Battery Replacement
I'm looking to replace my Delco battery with an Optima Red or Yellow Top. When disconnecting the old battery, what besides reprogramming the remote entry and radio do I have to be on the watch for? Will I have to reprogram the tire pressure sensors also?
With so many computer items on the car, I don't want to mess anything up. Feedback, as always, is appreciated. Thanks.

You might want to check out the new Delco Glass Mat battery as a replacement, it seems to be working fine on the 01/02 FRC, not sure of the price but that is what they are using these days

I believe all models - late 01s on up - have this battery in them. The nice thing is that they have a 3-year free replacement warranty (7-year total warranty). If the price is at or below that of the Optima, the warranty alone might justify a Delco purchace.

I'd avoid the Delco AGM. The one in my 2001 developed a bad cell and went bad after only three months. The Optima is a much better battery, in my opinion.
