C-5 electric water pump
I have installed a meziere electric water pump on my C-5 it say to use old style t-stat in new pump, now the old t-stat use to go at top hose this to rad the C-5 t-stat is in buttom hose which way do I turn the t-stat

Haven't installed one myself but the spring towards the pump seems to make sense. Pump is bypassing water before thermostat opens and if it were to face the radiator (without flow) not sure it would ever open.
Probably best to let someone who has done it speak up though

Scroll down a little and there is a pic showing clearly how the thermostat should be installed in the pump. It also says "Now place the thermostat into the opening with the spring on the thermostat going down into the pump"
