Default 97 rod bolts

Was wondering what is the general thought on how high you can spin a 97 LS1 with stock rod bolts, i am putting in an MS3, and was thinking it would be best spun to 6800, can i do this?

And if not, how difficult is it to swap rod bolts, can it be done in the car?

I would be interested in this also. I have a 99 and I believe they are the same.

I use a 225 shot of nitrous on my 97 c5 and spin it 6500. I've spun it to 6500 with the 225 shot atleast 400 times ( through the gears ) and probably another 500 times first into second gear.
Everyone seems to think they are very weak. But, no problems with mine.
Good luck
