What's your opinion. On my 02 Zo6 I have the Vararam VB 2 Installed and not sure what air filter to use. Vararam says that their new filter flows better than the K&N air filter (no, it's not their old foam filter)

The green or grey filters will be fine, and they're similar construction to the K&N. The green one flows better because it's thicker (more surface area).

If I'm not mistaken, I think the B2 filter in the new units is made by K&N. There was a post about this, and about oiling the filter before you drove the car with the new Vararam installed. It was within the last week, so you might do a search and confirm this. In any case, all the paper filters can be cleaned and reoiled the conventional way, as far as I know, and they are probably pretty much all the same.
You can clean the filter like a K&N but the VaraRam filter is not made by K&N.
Thanks for the explanation Cajundude .I thought K&N made this filter, but apparently I'm wrong. However, it is good to know that I was correct about the cleaning and oiling process and that they are the same.Wouldn't want to steer anyone wrong.By the way, thanks again for your install instructions. They saved my butt.
