Default Replacing front turn signal light bulb

What is the best way to replace the right front turn signal light bulb on my 02 vert. The manual says the car must be jacked up and you go in underneath. Can ramps be used? What kind of jack can be used my floor jack won't slide under because the vette is so low to the ground. Please advise.

Try this. It worked for me.

1. Turn on the headlights to raise them.
2. Turn back to the parking light position. The headlights will go off but stay in the up position
3. Unscrew the 3 small screws on the black plastic bezel around the headlight. Gently pull the bezel clear.
4. Reach down around the headlight unit and release the bulb holder. It unscrews counter clockwise but it has a plastic clip which you need to squeeze to release it. If you have thick arms, you may want to remove the hood stop pin.
5. Change the bulb.
6. Reseat the bulb holder and turn until it clicks back in place.
7. Put the plastic bezel back in place making sure to locate the small plastic tab in the bracket on the headlamp cover.
8. Replace the 3 screws and turn the parking lights off to lower the headlights.

Or, you can gently relocate the brake duct and slip your hand (or a small person's hand) in and release the bulb holder and replace the unit. I've done it several times on my "00 vert.

I still prefer to just remove the access panel between the front of the wheel well and the spoiler.
I have done it without having to jack the car up. Just lay on the ground in front of the car and remove the screws.

If you do not have a jack that is low enough to go under the car at the jacking points, you should get one. It will make future jobs, including changing oil, a lot easier.

This makes it a very simple 1-3 minute job. Push the brake duct down and reach through to the blinker, half turn counter clockwise, pull out the blinker hole, replace bulb and put it back in. Your first attempt doing it this way might take 10 minutes of fustration, but after that it'll be super easy.
