my front passenger side rim has a bent rim on the inside. the rims are all balanced. i was driving today and i heard a weird noise after 75 mph. its almost like a drone but i really have no idea what it can be. can the noise be because of the bent rim?
Doubtful. That should cause a vibration if anything, not a drone. My guess if by the time a bent wheel would be bent enough to cause a drone, you'd be missing all your teeth
Probably a wheel bearing noise or some sort of drone from the engine. Is it speed dependant or RPM dependant?
i just drive straight without turning and it gets louder past 75mph
You don't turn? Umm... I had a wheel bearing go in my other car and it seemed that when I turned and unloaded the bad bearing the noise stopped. Then when the car straightened out it made the noise again. Maybe find a highway with a sharp curve in it and turn the car. See what happens.
