Default How much hp?

I have a 98 coupe, I'm adding 243 heads, mti x1 cam, ls6 intake, underdrive pulley, long tubes, high flow cats, exhaust, varaam, and having mti tune it. How much can I expect at the wheels?

I'm at 376 RWHP with a A4 tranny, 224/224 .567/.567 LSA 114 stock 243 heads, LS6 intake, LT headers, UD pulley, Blackwing with a Halltech airbridge. Gonna be installing Patriot's 243 heads milled to 62cc. Goal is 400RWHP.

Default MTI R1 Cam =420RWHP

I had a similar setup.

243 heads that were lightly ported and milled .006
GM MLS Head Gaskets
LS6 intake
U/D Pulley Dynamaxx headers
MTI R1 cam (232/236)
Comp 918's and 875-16 lifters.
Vararam

M6 with 4:10's

I got 420 RWHP. The 4:10's made the readings a little lower that if I had left the 3:42's in, but that's only on paper!

ECS did the tune.

I recently added all the goodies you mentioned with a 224/224 .581/.581 on a 112 with Stage 2.5 5.3 Liter heads. Needless to say, a bit smaller cam, and probably heads that flow a little less than yours. I hit 410whp/390 torque. I would think you should hit a good 420 or maybe a bit more? I think the 4.10's should knock a bit off, as I have heard the lower rear ends lose a bit more... Ok, put me down for 425 at the wheel, if you are MN6. Maybe 415 with an auto. Did you do a baseline? I jumped 93whp from only a Vararam to the setup above. Good luck, man! You are going to love 400+ at the wheel!!!

380ish?? What are they smoking??? That cam alone (with everything but heads) would hit better than 380. If 400 is magical, you are going to be leaking magic after you get a tune!

That's my goal also. I'm close to 380 now and with the install of the 243 milled heads to 62cc, so my tuner said 400+ for me after the install. Good luck to you
