Brake Pads
I just bought my vette a couple of weeks ago. I was out cleanig it the other day and I noticed on my front brake pads both sides that there is a thin piece of grey stuff between the pad and caliper that is wrinkling and bubbling up. Its almost like its some type of anti sqeal material. Is this normal can it be cut of with a box knife? Or will it fall off on its own from heat? Thanks Rick

Thanks Oldvetter, Thats what I thought ,it looked really tacky so I cut it off looks much better and know brake sqeal. The inner brake I dont care about you cant see that. Thanks again Rick
