They claim that this kind of car can not be stolen because of this thing with the key codes although i send the all keys to the insurence company.
Please if there is anybody out here who can help me fight the insurence company in this question by supply with some kind of info that can show the insurence company the possibility to steal such car.
I would be greatful for all info regarding this problem and thank you all for your support. My email is vukota63@hotmail.com

Why do I get the feeling that I'll be asked for my checking account number before this is all done?

if the c5 can't be stolen why do we pay theft insurance on it?

Tell them all corvette c5 owners want a refund.

All kidding aside hire an attorney asap.

Shouldn't they have to prove that it CAN'T be stolen?? Have them try to demonstrate that a flatbed tow truck CAN'T pick it up. Not sure what the laws are like over there, but it seems to me that they need to provide the proof...not you.

Here is the list from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration most stolen cars 2001. The Corvette is #63 and there were 124 stolen in 2001. It also shows that there were 3.7 Corvettes stolen per 1000 vehicles produced in 2001. Hope this helps.

Didn't the original poster state that he hired a lawyer 2.5 years ago and that they are now at a point where they have to prove that a C5 can be stolen?

Perhaps I misread, but that was my take on the meaning of the OP's 2nd post.

i have a friend who recently had the same situation ! Insurance refused to pay claiming that it couldn be stolen in his case it was a truck then they Insinuated he was in on it all of which is illegal (refusing to pay and making accusations ) need less to say he sued the insurance company won in court and got enough to pay cash for a nearly 200000$ home along with pay cash for a new truck you can burn there *** big time for this !
