Shifting problems....
After driving my manual C5 for about 100 miles with the new Hurst shifter, I cant access 1st,3rd,5th, or Reverse(Any of the gears that are shifted to the front). Any help? I will check my repair manual for that adjustment procedure in the meantime. Thanks!
EDIT: I checked it out. It was the front adjustment bolt for the throw. The nut backed off, & the bolt moved & prevented the shifter from going forward. Thanks!

sounds like it just needs an adjustment.

remove it as your M6 has stops and does not need the stops in the shifter. If you keep them in, use the lock tight that came with the shifter. Looks like you found the issue and I would check it as long as you have the drill down. Good luck and IMO better to check it @ home in the garage then out on the town when you can not get it into gear
