Custom Tune question
I want to get a few cars dyno tuned and have some questions. Cars are 2002 C5, 2006 C6, 2001 TransAM (LS1) and 2006 GTO (LS2).
If I get a custom tune, what happens when I go to a dealer? If the ECM is reflashed? Can I get that program back from the tuner, or do I have to store it (considering purchasing HPTuners).
I've also heard that LS1edit (LS2edit??) locks the tune so it can't be changed except by LS1edit. I don't want to get stuck with a specific tuner or package.
