Default C5 adaptive memory ????

Hi all........i'm new to the C5 world and looking for some info on a 2002 C5 A4 auto.....is the computer on these cars adaptable with driving style and mods? i'm starting to do some bolt-on mods this weekend, ramair kit and programmer, will i need to reset the computer after i install the ramair kit or will the computer learn after some time? if so which fuse do i pull?

my truck has a adaptive memory for driving style if you drive it soft it will run soft if you drive it hard it will run hard, is a C5 anything like this?

thanks for any help.....Tim

It will learn your driving habits. All GM cars have been able to do this since they started installing computers in them.

The computer will make adjustments according to the new air flow.

By ramair I take it you mean a cold air package. The cold air package allows ambiant air into the engine giving a more dense charge. A good tune would be beneifcial, especially on the accel and decel programs. Howevery you can get by without it and the PCM will adapt to it somewhat.
