Shocks Inoperative.
98 coupe, 6-speed, 67k miles, ride-control, built before active handling (JL4) was available that model year, and magnesium wheels were on constraint when it was built, but it has all other options available at that time (F45 instead of Z51).
Happened a week ago. I started the car (in my garage) after 2 days haitus. As soon as I turned the key to ON (but did not start the car yet), the message "Corvette by Chevrolet" appeared, dials cycled and then for like a second, "SHOCKS INOPERATIVE" appeared and went away. I started the car and drove away and since then the message has not appeared ever. Wondering if something is failing or should be checked? Any advice appreciated.
