Default Code 1160 no driver side controls

I am looking for help trouble shooting a code 1160 communication problem. The dash lit up like a Christmas tree with traction control warning, check gages as well as everything else. The fuel would not register as well as the oil pressure. It also announced reduced engine power. There was a whole bunch of codes in history but this is the only current one. I also lost control of all the switches on the drivers door. I am not sure where to start looking and am hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.

Here are the codes I have currently:

60 IPC 1160
99 HVAC 1160
AO LDCM No Comm

Ok, I was able to find out that the LDCM is the left door control module. I decided to try the same method as I did when my passenger window would not roll down. I pounded on the door until the contols started working again. It only took a couple of minutes.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem and did they ultimately have to replace the module?

It might not be the module. There's a common problem with a short
in the wiring that goes between the body and the door.

Thanks a bunch for the link. This describes the problem much better and I thought it could be a short in the door.
