C5 2001 Coupe with Problems
Living in upstate New York means we store our cars.
With just 23,000 miles on my car I now have a computer problem. At times my directionals go off ... I can start them again if I push the Hazzard button on and off.
I get the car inspected here where they tie into the car's computer. My guy has showed me where the computer has yet to be booted up. I have put on 250 daily driver miles with lots of start and stops. Any ideas?
Re: Goodyear Tires.... I had them cup on another vehicle at around 33,000 miles... yes, it sounds like you are running snow tires from 20 years ago. My Vette has only 23,000 miles... any suggestions and what is a good replacement tire?

Your hazard switch is probably on its way out. As far as the computer not "booting" - hopefully someone who has had this issue will chime in.
Tires: My OEM rear tires were gone at 16,000 miles, so I'd say you did okay with yours. The best all-around tires out there are the Goodyear GSD3s. They have won many awards and test comparisons - highly recommended! Note that these are not runflats, but unless you regularly get blowouts that leave you stranded, non-runflats will do just fine - 24 lbs lighter and a much better ride.
