I have had these Pat heads since Feb standing by to be installed. They are CNC ported and mill 62cc chambers. The holdup is waiting for Cadillac Racing Lifters to arrive from back order.
I sure hope the wait is worth it.
Here are some pictures of the heads.
Sleeper, what lift and LSA are you running on the 224? I'll be interested to see your dyno graph after you get her back together and tuned. I'm running the TSP 224R (.581 lift/112LSA) with 5.3 heads. It will be nice to see what #'s you get with the Patriot (LS6's?) heads. Keep us posted!
Those are great heads I installed my Patriot 243 heads with 62cc chambers back in December with stock lifters and a little Comp XER 224/228 111 +2 cam and I'm loving 'em.

My cam is a comp 224/224 .567 .567 lift on a LSA 114. I'll be happy to post the dyno numbers when it's all together.
Crane has out a new lifter, maybe they are more readily available. Or you could always come to the dark side and use the Morels
I was pretty close to canceling the caddy lifters and ordering a set of Morels when I was told by SDPC that the caddy lifters were on their way to them...The Crane and the Morels are a lot more in cost.
The wait BETTER be wort it.

Thanks Bob...let's just call it a solid mid 11 car for now; at least 'til the new rubber gets here.
Fotoboy,
Nice car. Do you ever drag race it? Any times?
Patriot's flagship LS6 "style" heads start out as raw GM 035 (6L truck) castings. These heads have the same runner design as the LS6 heads, thus the LS6 "style" designation. Patriot welds up & machines the chambers to your desired cc and installs bigger aftermarket valves.
Their 243 heads start out as GM 243 (LS2 and LS6) castings. They don't have any chamber work and use stock GM non-sodium filled valves. These are less expensive, but they still perform great.
I just bought some myslef. It will have a 224/224 .581 112+4 comp. anyone have dyno results from this?
I have a 224/224 .581 on a 112. I have 5.3 liter stage 2.5 heads from Texas Speed. With all the bolt ons, I'm at 410whp/390tq, which is about 93whp above stock + Vararam. You can search for posts I have started to find my dyno graph. Don't know if you'll get different #'s with the 241 heads or not, but I'd guess it will be comparable. The low-end with this setup is very, very, very nice! Be sure to post your results when you get it on a dyno.
