Recomendations for engine rebuild in DFW
Looks like I spun a bearing yesterday. Any recomendations for a shop to rebuild the LS1. I do not need a 1000hp super engine just back to stock but in a reasonable amount of time.
Have any of you heard good or bad about AEI in the DFW area. They do a lot of engines and offer a 3 year 50K mile warrenty. I don't think they can be to bad as they have been here for quit a few years.
How about putting in an LS6 long block??? Would there be any gains or would I also have to change out the PCM??? I was thinking I would only have to get an LS6 intake.
