I think the Bra takes away from the looks of the car. :chevy
I agree, but I don't want the stone chips either. Hence I will live with the ugly bra as a protector. I remove my Speed L bra for car shows and whenever I wash the car. So far it has done well in protecting my C5 from paint chips.
I have used a Bra on many cars over the years and found that the fit and attachment always left a lot to be desired. On the Vette, I decided to go the extra mile and invest in the Speed Lingerie bra. You can choose the color to match your car. The bra fits perfectly and will not flap at speeds over 120mph. I have never seen a better front end cover. It is expensive, but worth it- after all the car wasn't inexpensive itself, now was it :)
Another vote for the GM bra after 3 1/2 weeks. Had it on for two long trips, have 2800 miles already and don't know how many chips I've saved but the amout of bugs on the bra make me glad I didn't have to scrub them off the front more than the light covers and part way up the hood. Got it from Ken Fichtner at a discount and have been very pleased. - -
Rather not use it for looks sake....but for a long trip like to Orlando next week....I strap on the ole Speed L....what a pain to get on especially in cold weather, but it does save some big chips. The only vehicle on the highway I really fear is the overloaded, uncovered gravel truck :mad
Hey, and another thing...I would like to see that sign on those trucks "not respondsible for broken windshield, stay back 200 feet"....tested in a court of law. What a joke. I need to put a sign on the C5..."stay back gravel trucks, not respondsible for coke bottles flying out the window". :mad
I used SL bra for a long time....just kept it on. Had enough protection under the bra that chaffing was kept to a minimum. Now with my new body kit, SL bra won't fit. Hasn't been too bad actually. I get more **** on my side mirrors than on the nose. Nose comes clean pretty easily.
Clem, I like your test. In my case if the pencil hangs there, her breasts are too big. I like em with a little less up top. :D
That's a rather personal question. You don't even know my wife!
Seriously, like many others, I don't like Bra's, but they serve a purpose. I've even grown to like mine, a little, aesthetically---black bra-----black-looking Targa top---dark-looking coupe rear hatch glass, kinda goes together.

SLB on mine! If I have to have a bra on the car SL is it!
I've used mine six (6) times, three (3) trips to Bowling Green, one (1) to Bloomington Gold, one (1) to Mid-America Design get together and one (1) time to a Show-Me Missouri Vette Show.
Easy on and Easy off.

I don't care for bra BUT for long highway trips I use.
