Default Help needed from ls2 stroker guys

I have a 98 w/ an ls2 stroker. 402 ci. I am planning a trip and want to change the oil before I leave. This is the first time for me changing the oil in this car. I need to know what kind of filter? And what oil I need to use? I am located in wv. I assume I use the 5w 30 that is calls for on the oil cap. But I am lost. I did a search and looked thru various ones. None of which ever said if they had a ls2 or not. Will the ls1 oil filter work on the ls2's?

Come to my rescue again forum guys.

500+ RWHP 402 here. I use the Mobil 1 or K&N filters "ONLY". Purolator filters cost me serious oil pressure.

I run Mobil 1 10w40.

My $.02

Just the quick heads up. I have had two ls2 pans with different thread pitch. The new LS7 number worked, I don't remember the new number. Call your chevy dealer!
