Help finding a part for my C5

I need help finding a part for my C5. I need the washer. There is an arrow pointing at the washer in the pic below? Can you buy that as a stand alone part? I broke mine. Also, what is the finction of this washer?

Supposedly, you can't buy the washer. You have to buy the full assembly, $1,100. :eek:

I want to know if I can just buythe washer or one similar to it.

Can some one get you a spec for that washer? Could it be made at a machine shop?................Just thinking out loud

Well, my mechanic found a part similar to it from a catalogue. I can't believe that you have to buy the assembly just to get a washer. Now that's rediculous.

I would look around for a C5 being parted out or contact a salvage yard.

That is called the "bevill washer"...It is concave and the purpose is to apply pressure to the posi clutch plates...Yes,it is available seperatly(1 for each side)...You werent launching it were you??? :smash: ;)
