I haven't read any issues on LS1Tech. What have you heard? I've been considering the Cadillac Racing Lifters as eventual replacements in my 383 stroker since I often see high RPMs while road racing (HPDE/TT).

No problems with mine at all after about 3k miles. The only problem I have is that without all the sewing machine noise I can't tell when the engine is running.
I've only heard good things about these lifters. I was talking to a vendor that uses them in his car and they thought it was set up wrong or the preload was wrong. I forgot the exact wording so please excuse me. I have these and only now I'm waiting for my heads.
Put them in the new 428ci and they are the quietest lifters i've had. Bought those junk Comp ones last year and lost a retaining clip after 1000 miles..if that. cant beat the price either at 200 a set comp[ared to isky's.at 400

Yes I heard the same thing about the set that failed...thanks for your input
I got mine from SDPC order now because I had to wait over 2 months on back order for them. They sell out fast..
I believe I paid $217.00 for the set and I also got new lifter trays.

And for reference, the back-order is over now and they are in stock ready to ship!
What are the advantages to these lifters? Are they better with stiff valve springs? Do they have better high RPM valve control? I know they are quieter than other designs, but everything else I've heard just seems like rumors...
I'm considering a solid roller cam, but if a hydraulic lifter can offer similar high RPM valve control I'll stay hydraulic and save the potential solid roller headaches.
