Thanks for the LINK.

Right now my car is in the shop. Had the heads and Caddy lifters installed. Now I have an engine ping that the tuner can't figure out.
He's changed plugs, the air temp sensor in the airbridge.
The only way he can get rid of the ping is to lower the timing to about 16* to get the ping out BUT it also lowers the HP.

Now he's think of changing out the PCM.

The lifters sound good.

Better oiling and good up to 8,000 RPM.

maybe you have a small vacume leak around the intake causing a lean condition.

I'll mention it to the tuner...he ordered a new PCM..because mine kept locking up when he tried to over write it...
