even with a impact wrench I was unable to get both of the caliper bolts to come loose to change the rotor.
I'm gonna assume you've already removed the calipers and are trying to remove the black caliper brackets.
Those bolts are torqued to 125 ft/lbs, and also have Loc-Tite on them. Get a LONG pipe to fit over your wrench and use a steady pressure to break them loose. Leverage is your friend in this case ....
I just took mine off on the rear to adjust the parking brake.
My cheap Sams Club/Walmart Impact would not budget one of the bolts.
My expensive real impact wrench that does 600 ft/lbs in reverse backed it right out.
If you don't have room to get it out w/ a pipe extension - get a good impact wrench from Home Depot or Lowes for about $100.00 that has some real torque to it.
