HELP!!!! What the hell just happened? No start problem....
So I get in the car just about to drive over to a friend's house and turn the key. The car cranked over for not even a split second and suddenly nothing! Shut off completely. Took the key out and put it back in to attempt to crank it again. NOTHING!!! No lights, no sound, no chime sound, no starter solenoid sound, nothing! Nada. Zip! I guess I'm gonna have to have to check this out in the morning. Geez, I absolutely hate electrical problems! I had enough of them in my C4, but now I'm a little worried that the electronics on the C5 are much harder to diagnose. I thought I smelled some electrical burning scent in the cabin right after I tried to crank it again. Hope I didn't fry something important... Please help this young C5 noob avoid an expensive repair bill....

That turned out to be the problem. Also I cleaned all that white and green gunky stuff off the battery posts. Cranks, starts, and hauls *** again. Thanks!!!
