On my way to work; I got "Active Handling" message on the DIC at least 10 times during my 20 minute drive to work. (Not Service active handling) No codes thrown. I feel it reset itself afterwards (That weird twitch you feel like when you reset the TCS codes) The only thing I did was wash my car before heading to work.
I was driving a straight road, exactly 70mph, 6th gear and not changing lanes. Anybody else heard of this?
That message indicates the active handling is activating. What size tires do you have at each wheel? You should not get any wierd twitch when resetting codes. Do you actually feel the car pull one or the other when you see the message. When AH activates in a normal manner you can feel it applying the brake to one of the wheels as the car will move or pull in the direction the system is trying to yaw the car.

Stock wheel/tire sizes. You can actually hear/feel the system vibrate slightly when resetting ABS/TCS codes (Try it when stopped if you have the service active handling etc message) I feel the same thing when the active handling message comes up.. very slight though. It came on four times when driving home last night (Dry outside, again cruise set at 70mph and not changing lanes)
Its just weird that the "Active Handling" is being activated. I'm hoping its just the grounding connector that just needs to be replaced. Thanks for the post!
