Stock magnesium wheels
I purchased a set of these wheels off of a 2003 corvette. There is a rubber gasket on the interior of all the wheels. Is this a shipping item? The rubber seal is custom cut to fit the wheel perfectly. Two dealers I checked with had no idea what I was talking about and the service manual does not list a number for the gasket. The way the gasket is made it appears it serves as an insulator between the wheel and the rotor. I checked other stock wheels and found them not machined to accept this gasket.
