I wish i new this when i first started playing with my headlights. there's a quick and easy way to get the headlight unit in a position to access not only the headlight housing/bulbs, but also the foglights and corner lights and any other "toys" you might hide there
1) phillips head screwdriver to remove the 3 screws (2 on the inside and one on the outside of each bucket)
2) torx 15 bit to remove the headlight panel on the top (2 screws on the back side accessable only when headlight is down, and one on each side of the headlight)
3) (the trick) you'll need a torx 15 bit and an 8mm socket:
make sure not to drop your nuts. Once the bolts are removed, you an move the entire housing up and back. if you want to remove the housing completely, remove the 2 swivel mounts.
Another member posted this earlier but i don't recall who. I thought I'd bring it back for newer members.
