Default Alan Futral/FMS.....MIA??!!

Does anyone know how to contact Futral Motorsports or Alan Futral? I bought a custom grind cam for my motor a couple years back, and seeing how well it ran and how satisfied I am/was with it's performance, I would like to contact him/them to order another new custom grind. Everytime I call, all I get is the voicemail and though I leave a message, I never get a return call. Anyone know for sure (besides his hairdresser??!!!). Thanks guys.

Allan is still open. I know because my car is over there right now. The best way to reach them is to send John a PM over on Ls1tech. Here is a link to his user profile: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/member.php?userid=21909

He is the only person over there who does the phone work and orders. Allan, Telly, and Terry are always in the back working on cars and engines.

Thank you for your info. I am wondering why they even have a phone# and voicemail if this is the case. I guess it speaks volumes of the quality/satisfaction level of his work that I have been so persistent in trying to reach him (I have called/left messages at least 7 or 8 times, all to no avail!! The last one I left a detailed message and return phone# to ease the communications problems, and let them know I had money in hand and was a repeat customer. Still nothing. Sorry to hear about your Katrina loss. Looks like you got a nice replacement, though!

They do get a lot done. I normally just show up over there when I need something. Even then it is hard to get a word in with all the work they have. John up front even has trouble getting words in because the phone rings so much. That is why it is easiest to get a PM from tech to him. While on the phone he is responding to PMs.

I would not call the Z06 a replacement it was the only vette I saved. When it came down to picking which car to take I new I could rebuild the 71 and not the Z06. I plan on having the 71 back on the road in two to three years.

Thank you for the link. It appears to work, but thus far, I have not heard a thing from John or anyone else at Futral's. I have practically begged them to serve me, many phone calls, now via the internet This is a shame, as I had the money in hand to buy a new cam, and was VERY pleased with his product. If they have this much business, and so little staff to handle this amount of volume, as time goes by, he will find that, indeed, he has more people than he needs on the staff to handle the SMALL VOLUME of work coming in, as people will go where they need to so that they may purchase the products/services desired. I already have, though this is not what I wanted. But it IS interesting that you are the ONLY person (Not ANYONE from Futrals!!!!!)who offered to try and help them, and me. Businesses survive on 2 things: Quality available products at a competitive price, and customer service. Since my old cam only lasted 30,000 miles, maybe I didn't receive either one. Definitely not the latter!! Thank you very much for trying to help me, and, Good luck, Alan.

Glad to try and help you. I do not think Allan is a sponsor on here that may be why there was no response. Sorry, it did not work out for you.
