I was going to clean the ground points and the connectors this morning but ran into a "simple" problem.
How do you get the connector apart? I tried everything that looked like would slip apart to no avail. I know this is stupid and a simple solution but I am afaid I will tear it up if I try anything else. Directions and or pictures would be a great help.
Not a stupid question. They make so many different connectors and most of them are like a Chinese puzzle. Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you but I am sure someone will chime in soon to help. Bill Curley of this forum knows all about the grounding points and can probably help you if you PM him.
The large black ground packs can be pryed apart with a small screwdriver. Insert a small blade screwdriver just aft of the end that attaches to the car and pry up. It will start to separate and then you should be able to just pull the two halves apart.
