Default wiper won't shut off
Wiper motor runs on low and will not shut off or change speed. It just randomly happened at 20K. Anyone else have this?? Any quick fix?? Thanx.

I just had the same problem, my udders got clogged and killed my wiper motor. R&R of the wiper motor isn't that hard.

instructions are great. mine does still work, just need to pull fuse to shut off...................

Replace the control module on the wiper motor. (about $115.00 from GM) Also keep the udders clean.

I got a rebuilt unit at the local parts place for about $45 with a lifetime guarantee.

I doubt it, EVERYONE that I have seen with the same symptoms (me included) had wiper motor issues.

Unless it is obviously damaged (BROKEN) I doubt if the stalk is the issue. You most likely have clogged udders and a flooded module. Try cleaning the udders and letting the module dry out.
