Default Handling Problems

The last couple of weeks my Vette has been acting funny. At high speeds the butt end wants to get loose and the active handling seems to come in to play much quicker than before. I thought it might have been the worn tires but it is still happening after new tires were put on. I checked all the fuses thinking a fuse for the active handling or the ride control might have been blown but all the fuses seem to be good. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you think it may be a bad shock or what? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Billy

When you put the new tires on, did you have it aligned?

If you did, then i would look for something loose or broken in the rear suspension. Spring, shock, control arms.

If you put the same style of tires, stock sizes on stock rims, front and rear, I'd look for:
Broken/loose sway bar attachment
Loose wheel nuts
Bad alignment
Incorrect tire pressures
No deep thoughts here, but sometimes we miss the easy solutions

Like Jim said. Also check wheel balancing. See if you threw off a wheel weight, esp. if you used tape on weights.
